a digital renaissance.

For decades, QX Magazine was the staple printed weekly for London’s gay scene. In a post-Covid landscape, the brand shifted exclusively online to serve the full LGBTQ+ spectrum, requiring a platform that supported venues, arts, and lifestyle content while driving revenue through direct advertising.

Our goal was to modernise this legacy without losing its depth. We redeveloped the site using a heavily customised native WordPress block builder, creating a robust framework capable of hosting thousands of articles and images. The new design prioritises speed and clarity, featuring a vital, up-to-the-minute “What’s On” events diary that serves as the community’s heartbeat.

Recognising that the vast majority of readers access the site on the go, we focused intensely on mobile optimisation. The result is a seamless, fast, and engaging digital hub that secures QX’s place as the essential guide for LGBTQ+ culture.
